"Mtoto" means "baby" or "child"

About Us

Welcome to Mtoto Clozet!

Thank you for taking the time to visit us! While you’re here, let me tell you a bit about us!

I am the founder of Mtoto Clozet and also a Registered Nurse currently practicing in Canada. My area of focus in nursing is with parents and newborns. It is during my time as a nurse where my passion for fashion in our little ones became so strong that I HAD to be a part of it! Have you ever seen a baby girl or baby boy in an outfit that just made you want to squeeze their chubby cheeks and take 100 Instagrammable photos of them!? Mtoto Clozet provides just that!

I was born in Kenya and I wanted my brand name to match my purpose for the future of this brand. “Mtoto” in Swahili means “baby” or “child”. My belief is that there should not be a child in the world that does not have clothing on their backs for whatever the reason. Unfortunately, this isn’t the case.
My intention is to send a percentage of the profits made by “Mtoto Clozet” back home to Kenya to a personally chosen charity that benefits babies and children of the less fortunate. Of course, we will keep you in the loop once decisions are finalized!

Please, do not hesitate to contact us at mtoto.clozet@gmail.com for any inquiries or if you just want to say hey!
Thank you once again and happy shopping!
